PURPOSE OF ESTABLISHMENT

The aim of the center is; In cooperation with the relevant departments and departments of the university, to follow national and international developments in the fields of sports law, sports management, sports communication, sports sociology, sports history, sports philosophy, sports economics, sports marketing and sports ethics. To examine the relevant legislation and practices of international sports-related federations, institutions, committees and academic institutions, as well as sports organization, sports rules and other practices in Turkey and to make suggestions; To carry out studies to ensure the development of sports law, sports management and sports communication branches, which are given undergraduate and postgraduate education internationally, in Turkey; To establish a sports library in order to facilitate academic studies related to sports and to make it available to those working in this field; Providing consultancy and expert services to sports individuals and organizations; conducting research on relevant topics; To develop cooperation with national and international partnerships, public institutions, non-governmental organizations and private sector organizations operating in the field of sports and to contribute to raising public awareness and training in the Center’s fields of activity.
