SCM Seminar Series is organized across a wide range of topics at the intersection of sport and the social sciences. This time, our theme was “Risk Management and Internal Systems in Sport.” The event featured Gürdoğan Yurtsever, Founder of the Center for Internal Systems and Legislation, as the guest speaker, and was held at Kadir Has University’s Cibali Campus.
During the seminar, key topics included risks in sports management and their management, the role of control and audit mechanisms, emerging paradigms in sports governance, and sports legislation and its alignment with other relevant legal frameworks. Throughout the interactive session, participants had the opportunity to ask Yurtsever questions and share their perspectives on the topics discussed.
