The Certificate Program in Entertainment, Technology, and Communication in Sport, organized for the second time this year through the partnership between Kadir Has University Sports Studies Center and Bilyoner, has officially begun.
The opening session of the program—which focuses on the role and importance of technology in sport, the close relationship between the sports and entertainment industries, and the field of sports communication—was delivered by Bilyoner CEO Yücel Karadeniz and our Center Director Emir Güney. Following the opening remarks, during which the aims and structure of the program were introduced, participants introduced themselves and shared their motivations for joining the program.
The second part of the opening day concluded with a lecture by Emir Güney on sports models. In the program’s second lecture, sports economist and author Tuğrul Akşar shared insights on current developments in the sports economy.
