Entertainment, Technology, and Communication in Sports Panel Held

The “Entertainment, Technology, and Communication in Sports” panel, the second event in the Bilyoner Vision Talks series organized in collaboration between the Sports Studies Center and Bilyoner, was successfully held.

Hosted by Kadir Has University, the panel featured Ali Deniz Ergün, Marketing Director at Bilyoner, Didem Gürser, journalist and presenter, and Can İşbakan, basketball commentator for S Sport, as speakers. The session was moderated by Emir Güney, Director of the Sports Studies Center.

The panel focused on the impact of technology—particularly artificial intelligence—on various aspects of sports. Speakers shared examples of how AI is being utilized in sports broadcasting and commentary, as well as its role in the development of sports-related products and services. Another key topic was how to further enhance the entertainment aspect of sports, with discussions centered on initiatives that have been implemented and those that could be explored in the future. Participants also exchanged ideas on how sporting events can be transformed into more engaging experiences for fans and audiences, both before and after the competitions themselves.

Participants of the Entertainment, Technology, and Communication in Sports Program Received Their Certificates

As part of the event, a certificate ceremony was also held for participants of the “Entertainment, Technology, and Communication in Sports” program, a five-week initiative jointly organized by our center and Bilyoner.

Certificates were presented to participants by Yücel Karadeniz, CEO of Bilyoner, and Emir Güney, Director of the Sports Studies Center.
